Find yourself in Fremantle - The big picture

As part of the City of Fremantle's "Find yourself in Fremantle" tourism campaign, Tangelo Creative recently designed a giant poster for the Fremantle Port Authority's Passenger Terminal. The poster is hard to miss as you come up the escalator to the upper level of the terminal as it measures 12m x 4m. The poster was installed in drops (like wallpaper) and Signcode our signage partners did a "seamless" job with the installation.

The Land and Sea People

Recently Tangelo has worked with Buurabalayyji Thalanyji native title group based in Onslow. Our brief was to develop the branding and corporate identity for Thalanyji Corporation, the group's business entity.  It's been an interesting job - getting the balance right to create a brand to represent a community group whilst projecting them as a professional corporation. John (Pallett) has come up with a great interpretation combining the elements of the land, the sea and the people.  We are now working on developing the corporate identity and website.

Minepower powers up

Bart recently completed another beautifully designed website - this time for our client Minepower  a mining and earthmoving contractor. This is the third generation site we have built since the inception of the company in 2003. The new site features a panoramic layout and really captures the look and feel of Minepower as the people orientated company it is. The new site features a full content management system (CMS) and a client editable photo gallery both of which were installed by our coding partner Red Kinetic.

St Johns - not at a bottle shop near you

Tangelo has again been working with the great folk at Churchview Estate. Laura (Haywood) developed the brand and design for a new range of labels for Churchview's new small parcel range 'St Johns'. The name comes from the small church across the road from Churchview Estate - St John's Anglican Church, Metricup.

The St Johns range will only be available at the cellar door at Churchview or through their website.  These wines include a sparkling white, a Zinfandel, a GSM (Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvédre) blend and a bordeaux-style blend.

Tradeshows - anytime, anywhere

In September, Cape Australia exhibited at QME 2010 (Queensland Mining & Engineering) in Mackay. Tina (Foreman) worked with Cape's marketing manager Yamile Chapman to design the look and feel of the trade show booth display including a tower built from Cape's core business - scaffolding. Tangelo then oversaw the production of the display material which was done by a printer based in Mackay. Cape received a lot of positive feedback for the display and the tower worked well as a draw card to their display.

Tangelo can design tradeshow displays and have them produced almost anywhere in the world. We have successfully produced tradeshow displays in London, Cape Town, Singapore, Toronto, Las Vegas and throughout Australia. If you have an upcoming tradeshow, give us a call and let us make it easy for you.

Graphite Australia

Another recent project is the branding and corporate identity for the start up mining company Graphite Australia  who are planning to mine graphite from tenements west of Esperance, WA. The logo and corporate identity were designed by Bart who turned the whole job around in a matter of days to meet Graphite Australia's very tight deadline. The logo symbolises graphite at a molecular level where the carbon atoms arrange themselves into offset hexagonal lattices, the overall result is a strong uncomplicated logo.
